How To: Re-pot house plants

Re-pot house plants

This video shows you how to re-pot your houseplants. When your geraniums have overgrown, cut your clippings. Let the clipping cure: i.e. the wound that you created needs to seal and cure, before planting. Set them aside, in order to allow them to cure. Once that is done, submerge the tip of the fresh clipping in a pot filled with fresh soil. Remember to remove dead leaves. If you have an amaryllis, remove it from the pot. Remove the old soil. Put fresh soil into the pot. Place the amaryllis in the pot. It should sit high in the pot. Work the soil in around the pot. The root ball should not be completely submerged and buried beneath soil.
