Then add water to the whole mixture.It is recommended that the compost bin should be about 3 feet high and 3 feet wide in order to insulate the compost. The bin should also be well ventilated. The compost should be turned from time to time.The whole composting process can take up to 7 months, depending on the weather and materials used. Once the process is finished, you will obtain a black material called humus, which is contains many important nutrients for plants.
